The Heavy Pier Reservation is intended for larger telescope systems, heavier mounts, larger optical tubes, advanced imaging platforms, and more complex remote observatory installations with a maximum swing diameter of 240 cm.
Because larger systems often have more demanding requirements, Heavy reservations are subject to a more detailed technical review, including mount type, total system weight, swing clearance, power demand, cabling, computing requirements, shipping, installation, and operational support needs.
This reservation deposit secures your place in the ZuluAlpha hosting queue and will be credited against your first hosting invoice once your system has been reviewed and accepted.
Final acceptance is subject to technical review, availability, completion of the hosting agreement, and confirmation that the selected tier is suitable for your equipment.
Suitable for
Large imaging systems, heavy-duty equatorial mounts, larger astrographs, larger SCT/RC/Newtonian systems, advanced remote installations, and custom observatory-class setups.

Reservation terms
This reservation deposit secures your place in the hosting queue and will be credited against your first hosting invoice once your system has been reviewed and accepted. Final acceptance is subject to technical review, availability, and completion of the hosting agreement.
The deposit is charged immediately. Recurring hosting charges will begin only once your telescope has been installed and commissioned. We will confirm the activation date before the first recurring payment.
