Smart Scope Rail Hosting – Bring Your Own

Already own a smart telescope? Give it a home under the dark southern skies of Sutherland.

ZuluAlpha’s Bring Your Own Smart Scope Rail Hosting provides a dedicated position for your telescope on our shared rail inside the observatory. You retain ownership of your equipment and operate it remotely using its supported app or connection method.

Your hosting includes:

• A dedicated shared-rail position for one compatible smart telescope.
• Standard mounting, installation and commissioning.
• Site power and internet connectivity.
• Remote-access setup.
• Access to your captured image files through a shared client folder, including raw FITS files where supported by your telescope.

The rail is suitable for Seestar S30 Pro and S50 Pro telescopes and compatible DWARF models, including the Draco. Please confirm your exact model and any mounting requirements with us before shipping. Any non-standard accessories or custom work will be agreed separately.

Choose your billing plan:

• Monthly: $59 per month, billed monthly once commissioned.
• Annual prepaid: $649 for 12 months, billed annually in advance once commissioned. Save $59 compared with 12 monthly payments.

Subscriptions renew at the selected interval until cancelled.

A $59 reservation deposit is payable when booking. This is held separately and credited against your final hosting charges. If those charges have already been prepaid, the deposit is refunded when hosting ends.

Remote hosting is scheduled to launch on 1 November 2026. Your hosting charges begin only once your telescope has arrived, been installed and is ready for remote use. If your equipment arrives later, your billing start date will move accordingly.

After reserving, contact daniel@zulualpha.co.za with your telescope model and expected shipping date. We will confirm the delivery details and coordinate installation with you.

Shipping, customs clearance, import taxes, telescope purchase and any separately agreed accessories are additional to the hosting price. Observing access depends on weather and safe roof operation.
